The back is covered by strong cardboard, and sewn up with fabric.
Care and display advice
My embroideries are extremely delicate, so they must be handled and treated with care. Please avoid touching the threads, and please keep them out of reach of animals and children. I recommend displaying this either propped up securely, or hung from a nail. Alternatively, you can purchase an embroidery frame, which would keep the embroidery safe behind glass.
